Monolithic Refractory Installation on Stoker Boiler

Stoker boilers are classified into spreader stokers and chain grate stokers. The working system of a stoker boiler feeds coal into the furnace with the help of a spreader or chain grate, where the coal is burned on the coal bed through a rapid combustion process.

The combustion temperature ranges between 1300 – 1700 °C. Under these working conditions, the refractory specifications must be able to withstand high temperatures and resist thermal shock.
