A CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed) Boiler is a combustion system that uses a fluidized bed process with bed material. The bed material is driven by high-pressure air from the FD Fan through nozzles, while coal is injected via the coal feeder into the furnace.
The mixture circulates from the furnace to the cyclone, and part of it returns to the furnace through the sealpot, forming a fluidized bed with an operating temperature of 850 – 1050 °C.
